Ok..I have a Browning Pro-40. I think I am the only one that does:smt082 as they seem to not be mush around. I do see more people with the FNP 9's and 40's/
Those of you that have one what do you think? If you have the say..9mm would you get the 40? I'm interested in what people think about these guns. Personally I really like the Browning I have. It's scary accurate and always cycles. I though about looking at the FNP more 1st hand...maybe the 45.
I have the FNP9 and FNP9M. Neither has ever jammed out of several thousand rds thru both. More accurate by far than me. The M is my primary carry. Thought about switching to a compact 45 but the M is almost exactly the same dimensions and weights 12 oz less. Also 16 rds vs 8. Only reason I don't go with the 40 is just not wanting to add another caliber to my ammo stockpile. As far as the FN45 goes, all I've heard is good but I'm just not ready to add another "big" 45 to the stable.:smt1099
I've switched to carrying my FNP9 as my carry gun. I really like the gun.
Right now - the slide has been sent off to be hard chromed. But, the gun is very accurate.
Be aware that if U want a Browning Pro9 - get it now. They were discontinued in the USA a few months back. There will only be FNPs (FN owns Browning, but decided not to see the guns with the Browning name on them).
The more I research them they look better and better. What I don't understand is why the Browning models of the guns are like...nowhere to be seen. You can find a ton of the FNP's in places like gunbroker but the Browning counterparts are nowhere to be seen. My research shows me that they are the same gun so I really don't understand. I plan on getting the FNP I believe it just strikes me really odd that one is so prevalent while the other is a ghost.
Can't deny that the pistols are really good no matter the name stamped on them.

I wasn't as much looking to get a pro-9 exclusively The FNP would be the choice I'd make if i am to get one. I just was thinking out loud I guess in why they are about nowhere to be seen. They made them so one would think they would be around some is all. they can discontinue them great..but did they get all the ones out there and make them go away?
