Hi, ok I just got my security 6, and I wanna go shoot. I would like to know if anyone who lives near the Prescott Az area has a preference on which range to use, or maybe more specifically which ones to avoid. My main concern is that I don't want to spend my time or money at a place where I'm going to be treated like garbage because I'm a new shooter, and might have a few what to them might be stupid questions.

There is an outdoor range south of town off highway 89. I suggest you get a Yellow Pages Phone book and start with the range closest to home. If that one doesn't suit you move out a bit.Quote:

Don't let lack of knowledge keep you away from the ranges. We all had to start out new and gather what knowledge we have over time.
After you are well versed in safe handling procedures you will find an abundance of locations in the Prescott National Forest where you can practice in the great outdoors.
