FN Customer Service-excellent!!
I bought an FNP 40 DASA about 6 weeks ago and have put around 1,000 rounds through it. I was doing my catechism of dry fire last evening and noticed that the arched grip insert had a hairline crack at the top left. The weapon has never been dropped or mistreated in any way and the fact that the checkering in the Polymer was completely intact testifies to that fact. Still, thinking that this is not an expensive part, I e-mailed FN around 9PM last night. When I got home at 6PM today I found an e-mail from FN Customer service advising that they would drop an new set of inserts in the mail today. Talk about customer service. I garuntee that I will add an FNP 9 DASA to my collection in the near future for the same reason as I added a 92FS to my Beretta weapons, cheaper to shoot, still an adequate caliber with the right ammo. I kind of broke ground 30 odd years ago by carrying a BHP while a narcotics/homocide investigator in a multi-juristictional task force in South Georgia and was never let down by the excellent handgun. I am looking forward to the same quality with the FNP. Thought you guys would like to know.
