De-cocker

I have always liked the S&W pistols with the de-cocker. Here is one I have had for many years, the model 6906 in 9mm. I am considering using it as a CCW gun because it is so safe to carry, and high capacity too. This one has always been reliable and accurate. Does anyone else have experience with them?

I find the ergonomics atrocious. Grungy trigger, boxy grip, backwards safety/decocking dingus, etc. However, if you like the feel of the gun and controls, go for it.

I don't know that this gun is any safer than any other. All modern guns are perfectly safe if you obey Rule Three.
