Question on online gun auction sites?

Looking to purchase my first handgun ( Walther P99 A/S) and I'm having a difficult time finding any locally. I see that Gunbroker.com has a few listed. Anyone on the board have experience (good/bad) dealing through this site?

Gunbroker.com is reputable, but scrutinize each seller individually. Also look at Gunsamerica.com.

Don't forget that you will have to ship via FFL to FFL which can add from $30 to $50 to the cost of the pistol. You just got to shop around. Good luck.

I agree. It's like ebay: 99% of the people and sellers are legit and good, but you get those few to watch out for.

Just use your head and you should be okay.

Thanks for the responses. I've had decent luck with ebay (non-firearm), but I'm always a little hesitant. I'll check out the Bigsky website.
