Five fires burning south, southeast, north, northwest and west of my home. All within 30 to 90 miles. A few years ago they got a little closer. My brother-in-law is near the Agua Dulce fire and he just called to say they are evacuating. Hope everyone near the fires is safe.
That sucks. We spent all summer with smoke this year here in NW Montana.
Four hours to travel 60 miles home tonight. Arnold is in San Diego surveying the damage, at least they can't take my handguns...yeah right. The national guard is being used to prevent looting. Closest fire to my home is about ten miles south, but, luckily it is moving west. Hope the wind doesn't change directions.
