Thread: Any other horse folks...?

Can't ya tell by that certain road-apple scent I have about me?

Technically that's what I do these days - valet to horses. Some pictures in a day or two.

I am old country boy stuck in the city. Would love to get back out in the hills and mountains. I haven't been on a horse in many years, but sure do like them.

I grew up on a horse ranch helping my pop break and train horses mostly for rich folk,I got my very own first scooter at 16 and havent been on a horse since.As often as them nags put me in the dirt I cant say I miss it very much either

Mostly yeah, but we had a quarter horse that was the seed from hell and a morgan my mom (tried) to barrel that was blind in the left eye.Kinda funny at first, would not turn left for squat and would toss her in the dirt on the right turns...Fist time I ever heard my mama swear

Ex-Wife bought a horse while we were married... With my allergies, I could never be around it. In fact, when she got home from visiting the horse, she had to go straight to the shower and wash her clothes ASAP, or I would get sick.

I stood in the parking lot of the stables - saw her horse 40 feet away, and then got back in my car - place smelled so much of horses that this was all I could take.

Allergies suck!

My allergies are to cats - love them; always had one around since college, then developed a severe reaction to them.

Still have them, but they have to stay outside; just as well - they keep the rodent population down around the outbuildings.

I live in horse country but prefer the iron kind.
