    Can someone enlighten me ??

    A few years ago, my wife and daughter brings home this kitten from a friend's house. It was probably 8 weeks old at most. Now, we had her front claws removed so she wouldn't tear up the furniture. Most of her adult life, she's been an indoor cat. Since we've moved, she cries to go outside a lot of the time. She's (it) has decided that it would bring us presents of rodents she captures and kills in the yard. Several mice and a couple of pocket gophers. Why, all of a sudden, has she become a "killer cat" ?? It also amazes me that she does this without any front claws.

    Wow, pretty amazing that she's able to kill for ya, with no front claws. That takes talent.

    I've had cats most of my life... I have a dog now, no cats. But, The last outdoor cat I had brought me a present every morning... I'd open the front door and there would always be a little dead field mouse on the porch, always on the welcome mat. Woke up one morning and the whole front porch was cover in bird feathers... No sign of the bird...

    Seeing as there is a shortage of AA batteries in my house, my camera doesn't work. I may be able to take a pic with the teeth marks on the most recent "kill" laying on the welcome mat. (along with some of my soon to be dirty guns)
