Thanks! Labs are sure great dogs. Smart, loyal, loving, yet protective...she wouldn't hesitate to get nasty with someone (and has) if they approached in a manner that she didn't approve of. Perfect family dogs.

The only downsides to labs (besides the hip issue that you need to look out for) is their huge appetites and their hyperactivity

Pretty lab I just got one a back in november. They are great dogs and very good with children.

Oh yeah they're amazing dogs.

Gonna get another dog soon...not sure what to get. Either a german shepherd, or a greater swiss mountain dog...both have pros and cons. I dunno, german shephers have always been my very favorite.

may i suggest a springer spaniel? ive had them all of my life, and love the breed. i think they're very similar to labs as well, except maybe a little smaller, fun, energetic, loyal, loving... just a plain great dog!
