R.I.P. Queenie
I had to put my 11 year old beagle down the other day.
I think there were A LOT of bunnies celebrating on the day she retired from the field.
Sad day for me indeed however she was an awesome dog and no longer suffering.

Never easy. She is at peace now and memories of her will last as long as you keep them.
-
Sorry for your loss. A man and his dog can truly be a special relationship.

Thanks guys! It is a tough decision to make...pain meds and surgery that will last another year at most or put her down. I had to go the second route. She was too good to me.

Sorry for your loss. It was the hardest thing I ever had to do.
She will always be in your heart and memorries.

May God bless her and keep her. I know how hard it is to loose a pet, or when to let them go. I've had more them my fair share over the past couple of years. They all get buried in the back forty. I've dug holes in the winter, in the middle of the night, etc..... They deserve that. My prayers are with you.

Sorry about your loss. I had to put my dog down a few years ago and know how terrible it feels.

I am so sorry for your loss. Hardest thing I ever had to do was what you had to do. Cried like a baby. Waited 8 months and got another collie.

I am so sorry for the loss of your old friend. It's never easy to have to put an animal down. They become like family. I'm glad you have found solace in the fact that she is not suffering anymore.

Our condolences, it's never easy laying a family member to rest.
