I read somewhere that once a year there is a huge gun show in the Tulsa area.....something like 4000 tables. Anyone been to it, and would it be worth driving from Texas for a weekend trip?

Yes, the Wanenmacher's gun show is the largest. It is twice a year at the Tulsa fairgrounds expo center. If you have never been, I'd say it is definitely worth a trip, you won't believe the size of this show. Be sure and wear your walking shoes. http://www.tulsaarmsshow.com/
Tulsa has the biggest gun shows I've ever seen!.....but, bring yer walkin shoes....can't really see it all in just one day. the wife and I never miss one.
The show here will spoil you for other shows. Like Merlin45 said bring you walking shoes and if you plan to horsetrade a lot bring a little red wagon. You aint near gonna see it all no matter what! This one makes the show at Houston, back in the 80's when they had it at the Astrodome, seem like a flea market booth. This is the "Canton First Monday" of shows. Come on up, you ain't gonna be disappointed.
