That's all there is to it - and probably stand by to get pulled over on several occasions.

Make sure it is in full view - no shirt over it or tucked in the pants etc. - and do not get into any motor vehicle with it strapped on - it is considered a concealed weapon at that point - and in that case the weapon must be disabled from firing and out of the reach of anyone in the vehicle.

If you carry, prepare to be arrested for inciting panic or some such charge. Sure, it's legal to open carry, but the way they get you is through some other law.

Yeah...Seems the Ohio LEO community was pretty much not happy with CCW and open carry laws in the state nad they don't seem to like seeing a civilian with a weapon. I still have friends and family up there and a couple of them have had issues. One with a permit but it seemed that a LEO seen the weapon as she was getting in her car and went to get the malefactor. She had a belt holster with a shirt over it. She don't like IWB so that's her way. Man I do not m,iss that place. Around my little wide spot in the road some will look funny at you id you don't have a weapon with you
