Not sure where in NJ you are, but I shoot about 2-3 times a week at Bob's Little Sports Shop. He has a 9 lane 25 yard indoor range. Everyone there is very friendly and helpful. He's located in Glassboro.
Where do you Jerseyites shoot. Give us your favorite places for the rest of the Jersey people. Thanks.

Hello:
I am going to be taking a course from someone who is in East windsor/ Hightstown NJ and i wonder if anyone knows him, He is a FFL Dealer and instrutor. i will be going for my NJ firearm purchase card and Pistol permit, that is what this guy told me to do I was told by my friends son that you only have so many months to purchase once you get your purchase card and not sure how long as i want to time it and also do not want to be in any rush to purchase.
I have been doing alot of research and talking to diffrent people belong to a number of forums to learn about the handguns, been told what would not be good for a first time shooter, i also know where to go for a range but from what i am told i need to be invited by a memeber, I have bensalm Pa and bristol PA for the 2 ranges that i could go to which are not far from where i live, which is in Hamilton NJ been told that any NJ ranges are private.
so if anyone on this part of the forum goes to any range near Hamilton NJ that would be willing to help me out that would be great please let me know.
I have one guy who has been great in helping me along the process of learning about the diffrent handguns and what i have in mind are the following and in no order is the Ruger P95 the stoeger cougar 9mm,beretta px4 9mm, glock 17 and Smith and Wesson M&P or SDModel
my friend is going to be taking the course together and her husband got her a Kel-tec because she wanted a small gun and i even told her from whatn i have been told and read the small guns would be harder with speaking about the recoil and if she goes shooting at the range with her husband and trys to shoot it that it will turn her off
.
now my friends husband let me hold his smith and wesson and for some reason it seemed big in my hands so i am wondering if maybe i might have to go one size smaller. besides looking for someone that might happen to live in my area and could help me out.
