I don't get it. Help me understand why the state is so damned pussified. You can't do this, you can't do that. Maybe, one day, I can get outta here.:smt076
One thing about NJ, is that it has allowed itself to become lawsuit happy due to personal self absorption. Everyone is ready to sue at any given time to make a buck. I moved to Central PA from NJ 7 years ago and the first time a kid fell at a neighborhood gathering and I semi-joked about a lawsuit waiting to happen, you could hear a pin drop. Here, that train of thought never enters people's mind. A guy in our neighborhood from NJ actually provoked another guy to punch him, then sued. The judge laughed, threw the case out, ordered the NJ guy to pay both legal fees and told him he got what he deserved. In NJ, neighbors barely interact. Here and in the mid west, neighborhoods interact. I hate NJ.
As for pumping your own gas everywhere else. I got more dates in college meeting gals at the gas station who were pumping their own gas than at pickup bars.

Dsig1 : "Hey baby, you come here often?"
Girl : "Yeah, every time my car says 'E', what about you?"
Dsig1 : "Yeah, I come here for that too, but mostly to pick up chicks."

New Jersey is Full Serve only. Any time I'm in a hurry and try to pump my own, I usually get yelled at by some guy in a turban. On top of that, NJ's gas prices are usually about $0.20 a gallon less than here in NY, where we pump our own!
Its been about 10 years since someone has cleaned my windshield while getting gas.

I was in college in MD at the time and there were a lot of girls who either had lived in NJ all their life or prissy chicks whose daddy always filled their tank for them, who didn't know how to pump gas. Going to their rescue with a simple "can I help you with that" was better (and cheaper) than a six pack and a couple of shots to loosen them up for a conversation and....:smt083
Yeah, good ole Jersey. Where the constituents are too stupid to carry guns and pump their own gas. I'd leave but from I've been seeing, every other state has it's issues too.
I am coming to NJ next week for 7 days to visit relatives. Luckily we will spend most of the time in PA, since she lives in Cherry Hill, across the Delaware from Philly. I also don't like going there because i can't carry. Anywhere in the Northeast is pain in the ass.
lived in NJ for thirty+ years. moved to FL about 4 years ago .. all i miss are the diner's . I don't miss the taxes.
and to why it is pussified ? Maybe all the non pussified people got sick and left that dang smelly state. tell me Newark (meadowlands) area don't Smell like crap.
the farthest north i've travelled in the eastern u.s. is pa and i don't plan to go anywhere above that. if i didn't hate the winter in ak so much i'd probably try to move back there...but sc is good enough for now as long as laws stay the way they are.
im so glad i chose to go to college down here in florida, i now am the proud owner of a baby eagle and loving every minute of it, its a shame that ill have to leave it locked up down here when i head home in a couple weeks, stupid liberal nonsense state
