      I need help identifying my grandfathers handgun



      My grandfathers gun was stolen and means a lot to the family, it was known as one of a kind

      can someone please help me and tell me the name and make of the piece so i can try to purchase one similar in his honor.

      im so sorry but this is all the image i have!

      this will mean a lot, more than you will imagine.

      It's P35 "Hi Power" manufacturer unknown as there are several makers, I would guess it's probably an older FNH pistol. So sorry for the loss, that looks like quite the pistol.

      Have you filed a police report? If not do so immediately, there may be a chance it was or can be recovered.

      I can't tell if it is a normal HP that has been engraved after it left the factory, or perhaps a Renaissance model Browning HP, that came from the factory looking like that.

      If you run a Google search for "renaissance browning HP" and then click the Images tab, you can see various versions of this model.
