Sig p220

I have never bought a gun and am thinking of making this my first of many. I am not new to hand guns i just never seen the point in buying one until now. I have been in the military for the last 8 years and i shoot (before i got here in pensacola 2 years ago) about every 6 months. Now i am a small arms instructor and i shoot whenever i want and for free its pretty awesome. But the time has come to move on and i want to get a nice gun for myself.

I have decided to get this P220 and i will buy it in about 3 weeks i just want to know if its a nice first gun to start my collection? Or should i go another route.

I think that it would be an excellent start....I have dealt with them, and had no problems whatsoever....nice firearm.

I couldn't think of a better handgun to start with.

Got one, oooops two gotta be wary of getting the SIGness as I am a recovering SIGaphile actually thats a lie ...I am still addicted.....JJ
