    need training

Anyone know a reason why there are so few training classes held in Delaware?

Having never owned (or shot) a gun, I am trying to find some basic safety courses to get me started, but am having difficulty finding anything in DE. Looks like there are some readily available across the state line into PA. Should I be worried about transporting a gun across state lines? I don't believe so provided its secured the trunk, keeping the ammo separate. But, ideally would prefer to stay local.

I'll also ask for suggestions from the folks at my local shops.

Is there a gun range nearby, gun shops check there and also look on websites such as NRA.....JJ

Try posting in the thread for your state.

    The internet is your friend.

These are all NRA classes, so they should be reputable, but still try and get some word of mouth from people who have already attended. I just did a quick search online, I'm sure you can find more if you look yourself.
