    identifying a handgun?

A friend found a revolver, without a cylinder, and wanted to try and find a cylinder for it. The only name on it is Belgian under the barrell. It has 44 WCF on the side of the barrell. I know that stands for Winchester Center Fire. It is stainless steel. It has a mark on top of the barrell that I found out was a Belgian mark that stood for somthing to do with the rifling. I have pics of it, but can't post them yet.
