    Final newb question for the night. In Wi, we dont conceal carry, so is there any point in looking at a compact vs a fullsize?

    NO, there is no benefit to a compact weapon if you don't carry. A full size gun will shoot better and easier compared to its compact counter part.

    Like said above, unless you have small hands or the added weight is more than you are comfortable with a full sized pistol is the way to go. They are much easier to learn to shoot well plus the recoil is usually less because of the extra weight.
