Thumbs up .3AT Kel-Tec From the Boss.

Here's what I got from the boss for being a good boy today, and going to the range with her. :smt026

Enjoy it. I really like my P32 Keltec - It helped a lot when I painted the front sight.

Baldy, I've been using Bright Sights to paint my sights with. It works great and seems to last forever.

I used plain white testors paint from the model section. I had it already. Works fine - no chipping issues. I am very, very anal retentive - yet I got the paint right on the very 1st try - I used a paperclip that I dipped in the paint, and let the first drop come off onto the paper before I touched the gun with it...

Also, someone on another sight tried using all the flourescent colors on their sights, and then eventually went back to white. It seems to be the best. I tend to agree

Sweet! I love my P3AT. It's totally reliable. I did put a trimmed-down Hogue Handall Jr. on it, since it tended to squirrel around in my hand without it.

It rides in my front pocket loaded with Gold Dot - in a Galco pocket holster, of course!

I read up on all the various balistics of the various 32 rounds, and I just keep Fiochi FMJ 32ACP in mine. Hollow points in 32 don't get U much. Some people keep 1 JHP in the chamber, and then FMJ in the mag (to avoid rimlock). But, I'm not going to buy a box of JHP just for 1 round.

I keep hearing about this rimlock issue, but I shot lots and lots of Silvertips in my P32 and it never once choked. Never.

'Course, in a .32, the difference between Silvertips and FMJ may be more academic than anything. But I like the idea of having a hollow nose to bite into the cranium, since headshots are a pretty likely necessity with a .32. FMJ is more prone to deflection off the rounded bones of the head.

Well, penetration is a lot better on FMJ. But, I hear what you are saying. Everyone has their own preferences. Some people get that wire kit and put it in the mag so they can carry any JHP w/o a rimlock issue. I'm satisfied w/ the fiochi. The expansion on the 32 hollow points weren't that much, I thought.

I havn't shot this little jewel yet, even though it was bought at the range today. I loaded her up and stuck her in my back pocket. If I wasn't for writing this I would have forgot about it. I don't even know it's there. I like that. So far I am OK with it. I just got to shoot it before I grade it.

Nah, I never really expected them to expand, and didn't give a damn if they did. I was more concerned with FMJ being deflected by the rounded skull in a head shot. The flatter, sharper nose of the JHP makes it "bite" into bone a little better, and may reduce the chance of deflection.

No doubt FMJ penetrates deeper in soft tissue, but I always planned on bursts to the head with that little gun. I have no confidence in COM shots with a .32.

#2 or 380 their both good I should know I have both. Ship ypo cat also carry top round in mag a HP then ball. This gives 2 hp then ball Loki got .43 expansion with a P-32 useing Corbon HP in jell with a little over 8" of penteration. Since most civ. SD id face on and close 8" should do job. Also if you remember the Corbon was only HP to open every time.
The S&B all was the hottiest of ball a over 950FPS and same ftlb engery as Corbon 140ftlbs. Thats a bunch with silver tips at around 90 ftlbs and many weaker.
