Well i got my first gun a few months ago. I went to check out a new toy today and found a few that i like. I would like my kt to have a big brother. I liked the glock 30 and springfeild xd 40. I was wondering if anyone could give me any input as to which they had and which they prefer? They both seem to feel nice in my hands but i'd like to know which is more reliable, and aftermarket acessories are available for each gun. The kel tec is still pretty new for me but i think i'd like to tinker around with something else as i have a short attention span. Any input would be appreciated. Oh and i'll be posting pics of the kt soon.:mrgreen:

Without a doubt there are more aftermarket goodies available for Glock. Nevertheless, I REALLY prefer the XD to the Glock. The fit better, are more feature rich (Loaded chamber indicator, grip safety) and are fun to shoot -and shoot well at that. I carried the 4" XD .40 S&W as my primary CCW for years. I knew it would work when it had to and I played with it on the weekends. Glock seriously needs to update their ergonomics. The guns are reliable but clunky in the hand compared to the XD. Noteable exceptions are the Glock 19 in 9mm, the Glock 23 in .40 S&W and the Glock 38 in 45 GAP. As for the others, Id choose XD any day -especially in a .45 ACP, as the glocks are all too big in the grip area, in my opinion.
