I have the plr16, if I'm not mistaken, the su-16 is considered a rifle while the other is not. If you dress up the plr16, (forearm/flash sup/laser/etc) it's a good looking firearm.

Oh, by the way, it's also fun to shoot and accurate. Fed all brands of ammo and does not care if it's brass or steel casings.

WOW but the su-16c looks great too!!! D: I'm really torn between these 3!!! I like the PLR, but it seems the su-16D is basicly the same with the option of using it as a rifle or a handgun. the su-16c though is ALMOST like the su-16D but obviously too long to be a convinient handgun, what i like about it though is the option of using the installed tripod!!! o_O Man well i have till my stimulus check to think about it, but any information about any of these 3 weapons is appreciated!!!

Still waiting on the RFB's (rifle version) to come out. Go to their web site and see the mini film clip that they have on the RFB.

I have had my PLR 16 for a couple years now and have had 0 problems with it. The PLR is good shooting and very accurate, it also bump fires easily if you want to waste a lot of ammo real quick. I bought mine because I wanted a .223 pistol and did not like the AR pistols with the buffer tube sticking out the back.

i made up my mind and want a plr16... only bad thing is that now that i have made up my mind, finding a plr is SOOOO HARD!!! D: If by any chance u guys see an online ad of one in stock, a link would be very appreciate it ... Beautiful gun by the way!!!

I have one just like that (except the sites on top). Just remember, you will not get it like the one on the picture. You have to buy the forearm cover and the flash suppressor separate. And get a laser site (green one) if you can. It works wonders.

I would suggest that you call Kel-Tec and ask them for a distributor in your state/city. Also ask them if they have it on stock. I'm sure that they still make them since I still see a lot of them in the guns shows here in Houston.

Another problem you might encounter is ammo. A lot of the sporting goods stores and Wal-mart does not have the .223. I buy mine on line or from gun shows, be advised that you will need atleast 1000 rounds, why? because it's fun shooting it. Oh by the way, if you take it to the range dressed up like the one on the picture, You will get a lot of on-lookers/questions.

Yeah, i like the way they come out factory new... but all those add ons do make it look awesome!!! You say you see them in a lot of gun shows at Houston? Which gun shows? and how much do they normally go for at the gun shows? I see a lot of online stores selling them for $400-$500 but on kel-tec's website its like $665 D: (either way all out of stock) I'm going to the upcoming Saxet gun show, hope i find one or something similar there (.223 pistol) And i'm also going to Houston in a week or so, what gun shops do you recommend in Houston?!

Not to change your mind but I have a Su16c with the picatinny forearm like above and like he said they will eat any ammo you put in it! Great little guns!!!
They are supposed to stay cleaner in the chamber area because of the AK style piston recoil system and they do!!! I have an Eotec 512 on mine and it is a great set-up!!!

I go to the gun show that's held in GRB (George R. Brown) downtown houston. Last time I was there, I saw atleast 3 dealers that have them, but the guns are not "dressed up". You still have to call Kel-Tec and buy the extras. If you find that they do not have it, try calling Tombal Pawn Shop. Don't let the name fool you, they do a lot of business selling New and Used guns and their prices are very good. They get their guns from the big distributors and they get a good discount. If the distributors have it, you can get it in the next day or two.
