My magazines do not drop out as easily as I would like. Thinking it may be that my Hogue grip is so tight that it deforms the grip enouge to make it bind slightly.

mine drop free easy, and have from day one. i do have the handall jr on. Try sliping a match book cover in between each side of an (EMPTY) mag and slide the whole thing in, then heat it (slolwy) with a hairdryer. Let cool. should drop free (at least according to the latest polymer fix i have read. I have NOT done this myself)

Thanks guys. Wont be able to go to the range for a while, so snap caps are in order. Cant buy snap caps until 2morow, so for now I am cycling the rounds manually (with the trigger locked, of course). So far, the p11 is smooth. The mag is catching a little bit when inserted, and the rounds are hard as hell to put in, but Im sure the spring will soften little bit. Those seem to be the only real problems so far. He gave me a 50 pack of speer practice ammo. The cool thing is he says I can trade him pizza for ammo every once in a while

Building a relationship with a shop owner is the best thing a person can do. It will always pat off in the long run. I pretty much do business with two shop owners anymore. I get a call is something really cool happens to pop up. I can order from the new and gunbroker and it don't cost me anything to use one of their FFLs to ship and transfer to. I can get them to order things for me and get excellent prices. All because when I get the itch to look at a new gun I'll see one of them first. If you got a guy that is willing to put a little work in to get your repeat business then he/she is someone to try to work with.

+1 on this fix. I read the same thing. Another also suggested inserting a piece of wood slightly thicker than the mag into the grip and doing the same thing. I like the matchbook idea better.

Enjoy your P-11, I/we have 2 and they are our primary carry pieces. Mine also doubles as a fun gun too. It shoots almost as good as my TZ99 which will do 3" 15rd groups at 25yds from a rest, and palm size free hand.

It came with a 10 round mag. Which is fine with me. I will order a 12 round mag for backup.

Congrats and I also got my P11 today also. They must be catching up.

My P11 has been great. It's my regular carry gun in the summer months here in Florida. It has never FTF and carries well in a pocket holser!
