I traded a Kahr CW9 that I hated for a P3AT and extras like holster and ammo. The Kahr CW9 I just couldn't trust it would stovepipe the second round over half the time. Even after I broke the gun in it hung on the second round sometimes the cartridge would not load. I talked to Kahr and
they sent a new magazine. Still happened to often to bet your life on and carry so it became a member of my safe. So I traded for the Kel Tec and carry that in a pocket holster exclusively during the summer. In fall and winter I carry my XDSC .40 which is to bulky for summer. I know there are a lot of Kahr fans out there so I can't say that they are lemons mine certainly was. Even though a .380 may not be a great caliber to carry it is a damn sight better than a 9 in the safe. I enjoy your forum.

Antares,
Congrats on finding something that works for you. At about $100 difference between the two you definitely got the better end of that deal. I'd trade for reliable over unreliable any day in similar quality guns.

Greg
Now I admit I lost about 60 bucks on the trade, but the P3AT was new the holster was new and the golden saber cartridges were a little pricey. If you want, the next time I have a gun that doesn't perform up to par and I consider unsafe to carry I will gladly ask a couple of you to trade.
Oh I do have a black powder with a broken trigger how about that .38 Rossi for it Old Padawan.![]()
sorry to many posts

Congrats on the KelTec. It'll go bang every time... And you've still got room in your pocket for the extra cash you could have spent on something else more expensive, and less reliable...
