    Another P-3AT

    Had a bad week, so the wife let me in on a secret that there was a gun show going on in Fort Worth yesterday. We went "just to look" and a P-3AT followed me home. Both her and I are going to get our CHLs soon, and after a lot of reading the P-3AT seemed like the best bang for the buck for a pocket gun. She will probably end up using it as a purse gun. Either way I think it's a great little gun and can't wait to get it out to the range.

    Finally I own more than one handgun!!!!

    Look into an Armalaser for it. They should come as an option from Kel-Tec.

    1) The sights are worthless
    2) The blocky laser reduces pocket printing
    3) The laser is much easier to aim in low light, and faster follow-ups
    4) They're only $150!

    Add a size small Hogue Handall overwrap grip for $8 as well. It will improve your grip immensely. While you are accessorizing, pick up a Desantis Nemesis pocket holster for $12. You'll be all set!!!!

    I tried the small Hogue slip-on grip, but found that it didn't grip my P3AT very well. There is a company out there that makes them specifically for the P3AT, and therefore might fit better and slip less (less trimming too).

    I think the P3AT is a great little pistol, and mine has been flawless since the day it followed me home. There are a few places on the internet that have "fluff & buff" instructions that might help to make your example run a bit better, but all I did to make mine run so well was to give it a proper clean and lube and polish the feedramp.

    Thanks for the suggestions guys!

    I did some searches and found the other company making the slip on grips for the 3AT. They are made by a member over at KTOG.com, and from all the reviews I've read, they seem to be really great. I went ahead and ordered the slip on grip, and the absorbing pads. I figure I'll give it a try!

    Looks great. Be sure to let us know how it shoots. I will own one of these some day as a BUG when I can carry. I can't wait for that!
