Another good man see's the light. I been carrying mine over a year and it's on me from the time I get up till I go to bed. Good luck with yours.![]()
All I can say is "why didn't I get one sooner"?
Right rear pocket, 5-7 days per week. I switched my wallet to the left rear, and I can't tell the difference. Dress slacks, shorts, jeans...
Start the day: Keys, wallet, cell phone, Kel-Tec, cash... I'm ready.
I still carry an XD on my hip when I can, but I ALWAYS have the Kel-Tec.
Range report:
- 3-4" groups at 7M all day long.
- Armalaser stays on target sitting on it all day.
- 5-shots, 3 seconds, 6" at 7M. Fast follow-ups w/ the laser are easy. Without.. hard.
- 250+ rounds down the pipe... ZERO failures.
- 108 lb wife, Carla, loves to shoot it! Recoil is fine...
I think it was $265?? $280??? and $159 for the laser. And $6 for the Uncle Mikes Pocket Holster... I'd buy it today for $600.
If you have a CC permit, you should own one. Best $300 you can spend.

Simply the best

Love mine too. We told you that you'd love it. Where did you get the laser? Online or a dealer?
I told you so.![]()

Got the laser locally. $150 or so. Installed it myself.
The tough thing about carrying a P-3AT is remembering not to toss it in the laundry basket with your pants...

yep my kel tec 380 is the answer i was looking for.. had some trouble with using the wrong ammo.. but it gets a strict diet of corbon dpx 80 grn,now..
never a glitch of any kind anymore.. its with me everywhere and i never feel under gunned.. i checked the results of that rd thru an deers neck..
you do that to a mans chest or anywhere and hes gonna be in some pretty bad shape. more than one hit in chest area and my bet is,,they gonna be singing for him that nite..
50 more rounds of WWB, just to keep it "current".
No issues, no flaws, laser still on after more than a month of pocket carry...
Love this little bugger...

It is a great little carry gun, and at the range you may have to use it I think it will be more than adequate for the job. It is so easy to carry and conceal. Mine is carried on me wherever I go. I quit carrying for a couple of months because of summer, but that is not the case anymore if you have a pants pocket you can carry this gem.
How do you know in advance what range you'll need to use it? We defenders can only react to an attack. Our attackers determine the range, not us.
It's not like a criminal thinks to himself, "Geez, that guy only has a pocket gun, so I will make sure I only attack him from three yards or under. But that other guy has a service pistol, so I will attack him from ten yards. And that guy over there has a rifle, so I will attack him from 150 yards." The attack is what it is, regardless of what gun you might have.

You guys are funny... please don't go Joe Pesci on me for saying that.![]()
Have any of you carried in the back pocket when you would be setting on hard surfaces such as big rocks, tree trunks concrete benches etc?
If you have how do they hold up to those conditions? Also how do you hold up under those conditions?

I back-pocket carry... I found I have to thicken up my wallet with more business cards to balance it out... My spine doesn't like it. The gun takes abuse better than my ass and spine.
PS... Update: I removed the Armalaser. The laser takes up too much space inside the trigger guard, and my chunky fingers didn't go in easy... I'm trading the KelTec laser for a XD9SC laser through KelTec. They allow trade-ins!!!! $55 to upgrade to the RSS laser for the XD, including shipping.
GREAT company.
I also ordered the belt clip and pinky hook today. Ships Monday. Range report next week for both!
