    P - 3 - A - T

    So how long did it take the rest of you Kel Tec .380 owners to figure out that if you say P3AT out loud it sounds like P380?

    Duh!

    I had my gun 6 months before I ever called its name out loud and actually heard that!

    In the meantime, I was scratching my head wondering why they gave it that strange combination of number and letters.

    I'm with Todd and Mike.

    I thought it was pretty clever of Keltec to come up with that. I even looked at other calibers to see which ones can be done like that.

    I don't have one YET but until you pointed it out, I hadn't noticed it myself. I've been looking at and considering one for the last month. Thanks for pointing out the obvious to me. DUH!!!

    I actually had it the other way around, due to the fact that I heard about it before I saw it spelled out. My buddy tells me about his awesome carry companion, and later that day I'm browsing the Internet for "Kel-tec P-380", which actually came up with hits by people who apparently heard what I heard.
