Instead of a large back pack while hunting, what do you guys think about this?

Saw this on another site and thought about getting one. Watcha think? I like how its in front of you for easy access and how small it is.

(I know if you pack to much weight in it could put a strain on your back)

It could work, but you may be better off with a tac vest so you could keep things away from your chest area. Seems like this pack might make it difficult to get a solid shot off b/c it would congest the chest area.

Well then I might work. I definitely like the concept. If you have the tac vest, or a camelbak hydration pack, you could attach some pockets to the front as well, and have your water in your pack as well.

Cool front pack... the biggest draw is the ability to utilize a backpack without interference so you can still carry food, water and snivel gear (rain gear). Condor makes some nice stuff at a very reasonable price as long as your not hung up on buying American Made gear. Lots of space for maps and other essential items to access quickly without doffing your backpack to get to em'.

SPECOPS is haven a sale right now, and they make good gear.

Tactical Gear | Military Tactical Gear | Military Equipment

Camelbak usually doesn't have sales, but they have great gear. Check out the MULE.

CamelBak | M.U.L.E The Original 3L Hydration Pack for Mountain Biking

All sorts of things one can do with this gear.

I can see where it would be a lot easier & faster to use than a backpack, but the backpack can carry larger & heavier items and you do have total freedom of movement when using a rifle or shotgun. I think the chest pack makes good sense when used for fishing as most all the items and lures could be contained in the chest pack. No need to carry a tackle box.
