I wonder if the poor guy considered a switch over to fly fishing after that or at least a trip to the range to zero in that rifle.

I don't know which is worse... the guy's three shots or the fact the dumb deer left him have three shots.

Somebody that is that bad of a shot should not be hunting. What if he had clipped the deer's leg and not hit him with a kill shot? From the looks of it, though, I think he might have gotten him on the 4th shot. Something must've spooked the deer.

Worse, what if he hit some other hunter? Besides the sheer boredom of it, being shot at by some dumb-ass was one of the reasons why you don't see me out in the woods any more.

Can't really blame the deer for standing there. They are intellegent animals, and since they have a natural instinct to survive......he probably felt that the safest place to be while the hunter was shooting.......was directly in front of the hunter.
