    Scope for an Encore?

    Just bought an Encore 7mm08 15" for deer hunting. Looking for ideas on a pistol scope good for 200 yds.

    How much do you want to spend? My buddy put a $600 Leopold on his and all I can say is SWEET!!! Worth every penny.

    Probably not more than $300. More so looking for info on size and magnification for this range. Up to 200 yards, open field or open oak woods. ???3x9, 4x??? any thoughts? New to pistol hunting.

    BurrIS company in Greeley, Colorado makes the best 100% usa made scopes for handguns. I advise you to consider nothing larger than their 4x with extended eye relief. Mount the scope in one of the Burris ring & bases setups or contact "SSK Industries" for one of their "T-SOB" systems.
