I recently bought a Springfield P9 40 caliber from my Uncles Estate and is the first gun I Have owned in nearly 10 years.I never thought I would own another pistol but got talked into this deal.(not that you will hear any complaints from me)
So I thought I would post and say Hi to everyone!![]()

Welcome from next door in Ohio. By the way, what exactly is a Hoosier? I've asked many from Indiana and no one knows where the name originated. Just curious.
I googled it because I didn't know myself. Here is a link that has a few ideas, but it looks like no one really knows.

And thanks everyone for the warm welcome!
That was interesting. The explanation I've heard a couple times was the "who's there?" theory. The canal builders explanations seems plausible. Thanks for sharing that information.
