Hey everybody, new handgunner here. My name is Lucas, I live in Columbus, OH (soon will be living in Chattanooga, TN). I turned 21 in January and have been on the market for a good handgun, and figured that forums were a good place to start before I make any decisions. This was one of the first and biggest handgun forums I found so here I am. I look forward to getting my first handgun soon and talking to everybody. Keep it real!

Welcome from the mountian top in North Carolina. Take a training course or 2 find a range where you can rent or try different types, calibers, models, then get a good 1911 and be happy with the world. IMHO.

I definitely love 1911s (the classic American handgun has an obvious appeal), but I'm not decided yet on what I want to get for my first handgun. But I guess that's what these forums are for and I am glad I found them!
