Hi all,
I just recently purchased my first handgun (a Sig Mosquito) last Saturday and am (not so) patiently waiting through the ten days. Just thought I'd wave 'hi' to everyone here.
*wave*

Welcome .................. and Howdy from Texass!![]()
Welcome from the swamp. Enjoy.
Welcome aboard from the mountian top in N.C. escape to free America a.s.a.p.
Another howdy from Texas. Sorry for the wait, I was stationed in SoCal in the 80's and had to endure a waiting period (I thought it was 15 days) the first time in my life.
The only waiting period I had ever dealt with was the 3 day marriage license in Texas. I sure wish that was 15 days, or months. I regress.
Enjoy that pistol. I'm warning you, they can be as addictive as crack. That's what I hear anyway.
So I got my Mosquito last Wednesday and took it out a couple times this past weekend. And, yes, it is addicting. In the two times I went to the range, I used about 800 rounds. Yes, I realize that is a large amount of ammunition, but you have to realize that it's only ~$15 / 500 rounds and fatigue isn't really an issue with a .22 caliber.
Welcome aboard. I couldn't handle waiting ten days. The only wait I had to endure was the cashier couldn't figure out how to give me the credit I had coming. Of course I live in a state you could do about anything.
Avatar, Please keep us posted about your new SIG. I need a .22 and that's the auto on the top of my list.
Here in Fl, we have a 5 "working" day wait unless you have a C.W.P.
Good luck. Have fun.
