    Hi There,
    Just signed up as a new member.
    Wanted to say hello to everyone before i started asking questions. I have been around fire arms when i was younger, however not really had the opportunity in the last 15-20 years. I originate from Australia, which have some pretty tough gun laws, then we moved to South East Asia, which also makes it tough to purchase or legally own firearms.
    Well now in the US the ability to own fire arms is a reality. We have been here for awhile and decided to start looking around at what interests me. I am planning on taking the concealed Handgun license test later this month.
    My next challenge will be to determine what type of handgun i want. That’s what brings me here.
    Now, i am not going to ask the dreaded question "which is the best gun" because i am sure there is no one right answer.
    I will take some time to go though the relevant info in the forum then start to ask some questions.
    I visited a gun show earlier today, it was good to touch and feel them.

    Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself.

    Hey Guys,
    Thanks for the welcomes.
    As i mentioned, i am doing my concealed handguns licence at the end of the month. I would not mind going to a range before hand to get a feel for the handguns, do you need the licence to rent a handgun at a range, or just pay the fee's.

    You should just be able to pay the fees as long as you are 21 yrs or older. You will also be required at most places to use and buy their ammunition.
