Welcome to the forum!
hi,im new to the forum and new to a weapon...hopefully ill find some question i have in here...
Welcome to the forum!
Welcome from down in the swamp and ask all the questions you want.
Glad you're here, welcome to the forum! New guy buys cigars.![]()
ok,i guess the first question from the newbie lol...what gun should be the first gun to buy, lots of people tell me different stuff but wanna hear something from you guys, most of the guys recomment to start with 9mm which im coo with that, but what brand and what price?
That's a FUN question. And it has a lot of answers. The cool part is, if you go in knowing its your first gun, then its not as tough.
The other cool part is that in order to discover what gun works best for you, you have to go out and shoot them. Find a range that rents guns, find friends that own guns, and go out to shoot. Its a tough job, but its one that only you can perform.
Price range will be important, so will how you want to use the gun. Shooting at a range? Self defence at home? Concealed carry? All different purposes, and all different types of guns.
Ruger makes a great, inexpensive 9mm with external safeties. The P89 is my personal favorite.
Now I'll let the other folks tell you why their personal favorites are better.
Good luck.

what u think of the ruger 9mm... i saw one today for $457
I love my Ruger P89. It has an alloy frame. Ruger also makes a poly that is a bit lighter. When I was taking guns for test drives I found it shot more accurately than the glock, and it had less recoil (because of its weight). My P89 has never had a failure to feed or a jam.
Having said that, be sure to fire before you buy. I'm suprised no one else has chimed in yet with their opinons about other brands. There ought to be at least one person around to extoll the virtues of the Walther P99. The XD 9 and of course Glock both have a pretty good following on this forum, too.

Welcome.
if u buy a brand new gun,at how many shot u will notice a differents?
I'm not sure I understand the question. If you are asking about a "break-in" period, that is pretty much up to the individual gun. The only break-in that I'm aware of is that some guns need to be fired 100 to 300 times to loosen up. Some guns, especially the larger calibers, will give you jams during the first couple of hundred rounds.
Let me make a suggestion: Why don't you start a new thread with a title like "Need help in buying my first gun." So far all you are getting here are welcome to the forum responses. I would post that in the "general semi-auto" section.
I think you'll get a lot more advice once the other folks can see that you are asking for help.
