Google. I was looking for a place to waste my time at night. I love talking about firearms. I own several of them. Its kind of a hobby of mine. This is a cool place to hang out. I hope to kill many a shift looking on here.

Stumbled Upon it. Really. Stumble Upon

It's a Firefox extension. Someone rated the forum which means everybody who has Stumble Upon and has "guns" as a topic will eventually find their way here. I've found a lot of neat sites I never knew existed this way. Check it out.

Now if I could find a way to manage my bookmarks to keep track of all this stuff.

      More "Stumblers" will follow me.

A buddy of mine on a forum completely unrelated to guns/rifles mentioned this forum. We tried to start a discussion over on that forum, but the people there really had no clue what they were talking about, OR they have been watching too many movies!

      Anyway, there is that...

      Ciao, CZ

I just typed in handgun forums into Google and found this first. Now I come here all the time, just reading different threads all the time. Learning alot. Going shooting tomorrow for the first time in like 10 years! I'm pretty stoked.

I wanted to research multiple handgun manufacturers and read users unbiased opinions. I did a Google search and found this site and several others. This site allows access to all of the major manufacturers in which I can read then draw my own conclusions, or I can start a discussion in the "General Semi-Auto" forum where everyone can chime in to offer their two cents.

I belong to several other handgun forums but find this one to be the most informative and friendly. Too often there are forums where people want to flame noobies, such as myself, for asking a simple question. Many fail to recognize that everyone had to start somewhere.. Well, this is my start. Anyway, I have not run into any problems with that here. I appreciate everyone's positive input and hope to be an active member for a very long time.
Pretty much the same here. +1

OK, I have been avoiding this poll because my response wasn't on the list. But since it keeps popping up, I'm starting to feel bad so here it is...

I answered 'other'. I was referred here by Bl7205 when I was looking for a good source of gun information. And I am so glad I listened to him. Thanks bl7205!

I have that FF extension too. I have "stumbled on a bunch of pretty neat places. Being a "computer guy" I learned years ago that Internet Explorer is about as useless as a liberal at an NRA meeting

Seriously, if anyone is using their computer for any type of secure things like E-shopping etc should NEVER use IE. The security flaws are everywhere and even clearing your IE cache can keep you as safe as you should be. There's a world full of teenagers with too much free time that can do a lot of bad things to you. A free download of Mozilla Firefox can save a lot of headache.

I first heard of this site on packing.org. I love to come here and drool over the picture threads.
