    Long Time Reader, First Time Poster

    I took the plunge yesterday and bought my first handgun. This site has been very helpful in my decision making process. I am glad to now call myself a member.

    It is a 40 cal. The gun show that I went was small. There was only one vender that had new M&Ps, XD's, and similar guns. I ended up paying $470 for it. He said he would match any other vendors price, but he was the only one that had one for sale.

    It is the 40 cal. I ended up paying a little more than $398, but I kind of expected it because there was only one dealer with new M&Ps. (It was a small, but good show)

    Welcome, I was looking at the M&P 40 last night again. Nice weapon. Let us know how it shoots.
    PS the cheapest I've seen is $465.

    Welcome from down in the swamp there Nickster. I think you made a good choice there. Don't worry about what you paid for it, just enjoy it. I got the .40ve S&W so I'll be looking for your range report about your.40 MP. Good luck.
