    Hi, from Milwaukee

    Hey everybody, been browsing the site the last day or two and decided to create a user name. I am a newbie shooter, only 18, and have never even actually fired off a firearm, thought I have always been very interested.

    I finally got my first gun (under fathers name, my money), a .45 Baby Desert Eagle .. it should prove to be an interesting first gun to say the least.

    I know many of you will likely tell me to get a handgun safety course and training etc etc. My father was in the armed forces and is considered an expert marksman and will be taking me to the range and is already teaching me the fine points of handgun ownership.

    If worse came to worse i do have the card of a professional but I don't think it will be necessary.


    Well yea, Hi and thanks for the info I've already gotten from reading/searching the forums, the members here seem rather knowledgeable and friendly so far.
