Well, I can't speak for ship... But I come from a little place called Earth, ya can't miss it....you know, 3rd rock from a Star you call...The Sun. J/K

Well, I've been doing web design on the side for a number of years now, for fun and business. After being a member of a few forums out there I decided to start one myself.

How did you to get together and decide to create this forum?

Well, that's a long story... It all started one fine January day at berettaforum.net. Let's just say, the rest is history...

What forums did the two of you moderate/adminster before starting this one?

I've never admined a "Forum" before this... But, I use to run (admin) a politcial blog for 3 years, we had over 5,000 registered members. It was one of the bigger ones out there. I closed it down so I could focus all my attention on this forum.

What are your historical landmarks?

893 registered members as of 9/14/06

Who was the first to join your forum?

I'm not sure, it may have been shipwreck... He was for sure in the top 5.

What are your goals?

With the help of all the members, to make this forum the best damn handgun related forum on the internet.

Where did js & Shipwreck come from?

Grew up in Louisiana. Moved to Texas 10 years ago. Love it here, and U couldn't make me move back to Louisiana

What forums did the two of you moderate/adminster before starting this one?

I started moderating way back in 1996 - I was an official "host" for MSN - back when it was like AOL - its own unique area. I've also created and maintain a couple of communities on the newer MSN, one with 1500-2000 members and another with over 1000. I gave them up a few years back to some of the other moderators/admins, but they are still around (and probably have many more members). I've also created several websites over the years as well

Who was the first to join your forum?

I think I was in the top 4. JS and I confirred back and forth a few times because of some initial problems, and then I became a moderator in the first couple of weeks I believe.

What are your goals?

Well, forum wise, I had always hoped that we would eventually become like one of the larger forums - Obviously, Glocktalk is the biggest, as is AR15. But, I'd love to see the kind of traffic one day that you see on The High Road.

As for myself... Just keep saving. Take some trips. Buy some more guns , eventually retire when I am still young enough to enjoy it. Hope to have my house paid off in about 20 years (I pay extra to the principal every month), and keep my beautiful wife.
