Just thought I would say hello. Just joined the ranks of being a handgun owner.... I purchased a Ruger P95 a few days ago. My wife and I shot one about 2 weeks ago and liked it. Now it's time to read and practice.

Having a heck of a time finding target ammo, everyone seems to be sold out with no timeline for new shipments. :-( Kind of sucks because I was to go practice.

Yes, the ammo situation is a bummer, especially for new shooters. If you have a local Walmart that sells ammo, you might try there late in the evening (if you're a night owl) or first thing in the morning (if you're an early bird). They get the new shipments out on the floor sometime around 11 PM to midnight, and if any decent ammo comes in, it goes out rather quickly. Some/most days there will be nothing, or nothing you need, but other times, you might get lucky. I found some .22 ammo just last night, along with a box of .40 for my Glocks. A week ago, I picked up several boxes of 9mm. So, they are getting stuff, but sometimes all of it is gone before many folks get to the store, so they assume nothing is coming in at all.
