    The 40 is a bit snappy in recoil but you should be able to handle it. Make sure you get a 40 that has a good warranty from the factory and you should be ok. I like the Glock 23 but there are others out that would fit the bill.

    i'd still rather have a 9mm
    lower cost
    lower recoil
    many more styles available - at the present time
