Welcome. I was in the same boat a while ago and decided to go with the .357 magnum (S&W 686 4"). It was a little spendy but I never regretted that purchase.

About to pull the trigger on my first handgun...harhahhr
Been wafflin between revolver(.357) & semiauto(9mm), but I think I can be bushed over the edge toward semi....
Anywhoo, plenty of guns out there for the havin'
