From Ohio/Illinois

Hey there,
My names Marc, 23, from Central Ohio. Currently stationed in Peoria Illinois via Active Duty U.S. Coast Guard.
I have a couple handguns, my first gun I ever (regrefully) purchased was a .40 Hi Point. The gun Is ridiculous, but I just wanted a cheap gun to keep accurate while off duty. The second gun I recently purchased is a Beretta 92 fs from Italy. I also have a lot of experience with the Sig P229, as it is the sidearm of the Department of Homeland Security.
Im definetly interested in getting a conceal and carry permit (doesnt seem possible in IL)

Marc, Illinois does not have nor honor ANY concealed carry permits. Your best bet is to obtain one from your home state or a non-res from Florida for travel outside of Illinois.

I agree, the sig has served me very well, it ismore than likely the next gun I buy.

Welcome from the Great Northwest, and stay safe out on the water. Yes save up and get the Sig. Then get your CCW from your home state and hope that its good in some of the surounding states and have a good safe place to store you toys that you do have and watch out of the Ill and city laws, they can bite on the ass if you give them a chance back there.
