New guy saying hello (large pics of guns included)

I just wanted to say hello. I'm a new user, working on building my collection.

    Here are my babies

The PT92 was my first, but the Para is my favorite. The other two I bought "just because."

I'm looking forward to getting to know you guys.

Glad you're here, welcome to the forum. New guy buys cigars.

If those are the babies, what does the Mother look like?

Not yet, should it? I haven't really fired it that much, ~200 rounds, but it has been flawless so far. I have a friend who owns a local gun store, he's getting me a case of plinking ammo and I hope to go shooting again Wednesday.

I believe Roger Miller has the best one there "my pappy was a pistol, I'm a son of a gun."

Amazing that somebody actually knows where that comes from. I'm 24, so most of the people I converse with wouldn't have a clue.

Always does. Too many people take too many things too seriously.

Thanks again, the next thing I want to add is a completely custom, built from scratch 1911

If figured, but that's just fine. It can be very refreshing to talk with more mature people for a change.

FWIW if it seems like I'm spending an awful lot of time on this forum today it's because I work the freaking night shift and there is absolutely nothing to do. If at any point you guys get tired of hearing from me just tell me to shut up.

~ nobody said ANYTHING about mature....

Don't worry 'bout spending too much time in here... if ya like firearms & good people it's gonna happen. There's a handful of us regulars that chime in everyday... & they're a good bunch of folks. I almost think of it as my local watering hole where I come to have a drink & shoot the breeze with friends ... :smt003
