Greetings from Mississippi

New to guns after several decades of being unarmed. Recently guns have become an interesting subject for me. In the last couple months I have purchased a Ruger MKIII 22 , a Beretta 92 FS 9mm and a Glock 23 .40 cal. I have always been interested in WWII firearms so my collecting may start to lean that direction. Looking forward to learning much from you pros here as I am new to this.

Welcome to the wonderful world of the gun culture. You'll quickly find that the more you learn, the more you realize how much you don't know. But then again, that's true with any of life's endeavors. You will gain a wealth of information on this and other firearms websites as all you need do is ask. You will get the requisite load of BS from some folks, but you'll soon learn how to separate that from facts. Just keep in mind that if it doesn't sound quite right, it probably isn't.

Sounds like you're off to a good start in your collection. I have two of the same guns you do plus a clone of the third (actually I have two gen3 Glock 23's). For WWII stuff, I have a M1 .30 caliber carbine which has been verified to have all original WWII parts, down to the oiler. It's in great shape and is one beautiful rifle. Even has the bayonet lug.

So welcome aboard. Next stop is to start carrying that G23, or whatever is your preference. If you have any questions about tuning your G23, I have been through the mill on that one.

Hi and welcome. You thinking U.S. WW2 weapons or all WW2 weapons? Great field for collecting though it can get a bit pricy.

Thanks guys...as far as the WWII weapons. I know it will be more than just US guns. I remember as a child my father having a P-07 Luger. I remember he hated than gun...It would jam on a fairly regular basis. I will still own one one day I hope.
