    Newbie here look out.... Kimber Q&A

    Hey I have a Kimber Question. I am trying to reassemble my ultra convert and can not get the slide lock in. it seems the the safety plunger holds it from going in. Help.... All my friends went shooting I am still at home trying to put my Kimber back together.

    Restrain the slide lock plunger with a guitar pick or similar piece of thin, stiff plastic... seat the slide lock, then carefully remove the plastic.

    A knife tip (small knife) can push the pin in until you get the slide stop started, guitar pick is good too, anything to push that pin in until you can start the stop.
