Welome from Iowa!
Hello everyone,
I just became a new owner of a 9 mm Kimber SOLO. This is the first gun I've ever owned and I'm just trying to learn about hand guns and hand gun safety. I actually set out to buy a Colt 45, and then I started looking at the Carry guns because of their practicality. I never knew how rare this gun was until I tried to buy one in my home state of Kentucky and all the guns store owners acted like I was kinda crazy for even asking for the gun and then telling me that I could be put on a 12 month waiting list if I wanted one. I seen one at the BPS in Nashville and I wanted to buy it but the guy behind the counter told me that I had to live in TN to buy a hand gun in TN. So, to make a long story short, after I found out I couldn't find a SOLO in KY I called BPS up and told them to hold it for me and I paid $30 for shipping and a $75 transfer fee + the crazy 9.75% TN sales tax.
So far I've shot the gun 5 times at a empty propane cyliner and this little thing packs a powerful punch.
thanks
