Hi and welcome....380 prices have come down a little as supply increases, but I don't shoot that much of it ...JJ
I truely enjoy handguns as well as long guns. I found this forum looking for information about one of my Walthers. I am a novice collector of WWI/WWII handguns and related paraphernalia. I retired early due to the economy, but I now get to enjoy my hobbies without interuption with things like work. I have enough money to get all I need and some of the things I want. My gun collecting has slowed down alot, but I'm content. I enjoy my Walthers: P22, P38, PPK/s, P5 & P99.
I'll help out when the question comes up that I can have some input, but I hope to be able to learn alot from you all too.
ps: Is .380 ammo super expensive where you live?

Welcome, from just down the road! If you haven't already done so, check out the range at Camp Atterbury.
As to .380, I buy just about all of mine from MidwayUSA or AbleAmmo.
PS Don't limit yourself to Walthers. Beretta makes some mighty fine guns, too!
Welcome...............up here, it's about $24 a box for 50...and personal defense loads are about $30 for 20, if you're lucky.....
