Hi and welcome......JJ
I was glad to see your forum. I own four Kimbers and have yet to have a failure of any kind. Nor have any of the MIM parts disintegrated like some would lead you to believe.
I did have a problem with my last Kimber, a Super Carry Custom HD, but it's not a failure issue - I posted a thread about that.
Tangle
Actually Tangle is my dog's name - she just let's me use it. When I first got her, she kept herself or her leash tangled around my legs, so she got the name Tangle.
Hi and welcome......JJ
Tangle,
Good to see ya', always nice to see a familiar "face".
Now about you and these 1911s, are we going to need to have an intervention?
Indeed it is nice to see a familiar face!!!!
Well, you know from my posts, I've shot and preferred a lot of different guns, even promoted non-1911 guns as advantageous. I've had that annoying grip safety block on 1911s; I have a thumb that's changed profiles over the years and doesn't catch the thumb safety the way it used to. Still.....
I simply cannot get away from a 1911! I've been shooting and carrying my Kimber Tactical Pro a lot lately and lovin' it. So, yeah, I'm gonna need some intervention![]()
Welcome, brother.
Welcome to the site!
