    Hello, n00b from IL

    HI guys, I've been lurking and gathering info for the purchase of my first gun. Today I bought a Ruger SR9, I'll pick it up on Sunday. I'm getting schooled by a retired LEO riding buddy of mine, plus I've signed my wife and myself up for the first available Basic Hand Gun class at a local club I hope to join.

    Anyway, thanks for all the info.
